 Dr. Rahul Soman holds a Masters in Pharmacy degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and received his PhD degree under the guidance of Dr. C. Arunkumar from the National Institute of Technology Calicut in 2015. During his PhD period, he has 8 publications and received the best poster award at an international conference (ICAN 2014) conducted by Madras University.  He was awarded National postdoctoral fellowship and Dr. DS Kothari postdoctoral fellowship under the mentorship of Prof. Pradeepta K. Panda to pursue his post PhD research at the University of Hyderabad. Recently he published a paper and filed a patent from the University of Hyderabad. His research interests cover the development of contracted and expanded porphyrinoids for medical and material applications.
